playing with tissues.

It has been raining very often recently in Singapore and Mama was kind enough to include some tissue paper in my tank for me!

However the tissue paper was too big for my little self, and while holding onto the tissue with my mouth, my pinky feet kept stepping onto the tissue and falling over :( In the end Mama shredded the tissue for me! And I am finally able to bring the tissue back to my favourite sleeping corner.

Can you see the tissue behind me? I am looking forward to a warm day (because cute hammies sleep in the day!) of sleep in this cold cold weather.

My Syrians

Ah Peng - Boy. Long Haired Satin Cream syrian.
Born on 11 Sept 2oo6.

Ah Peng is my first syrian, and also the author of this blog. His full name is TehPeng, which means milk tea. The inspiration came from his coat colour. He often makes me laugh with his silly faces. He is a playful and lovely boy.

Brandy - Girl. Long Haired Golden Tortoiseshell syrian.
Born on 06 Feb 2oo7.

Brandy is my 2nd and first female syrian. I got her from Justina's Donut(Dam)and Zonkkie's Kimi(Sire). she is a very sweet and daring girl. She recognises her own name and will come to the door whenever I call her. Unfortunately, she went missing one day. I still miss her everyday.

Sonya - Girl. Long Haired Silver Grey Umbrous syrian.
Born on 19 May 2oo7.

Sonya is the niece of Brandy. She is one of the 7 pups from Buttons (Dam) and Ruben (Sire). Sonya means "Wisdom" in Greek. I think Sonya takes after Brandy, she shows similar traits like being playful and daring! And definitely sweet as well :)

Osher - Boy. Long Haired Yellow boy.
Born on 12 Sept 2oo7.

Osher is my first boy carrier of yellow genes. Osher means "Happiness" in Herbew. I thought Sonya would be the last syrian but Osher won me over. He is the first "O" of the HOME ALONE pups of Donut (Dam) and Korby (Sire). This makes Osher the Uncle of Sonya, and the half brother of Brandy. Osher has a very pretty skirt of fur and is a very sweet-natured boy.

My Other Hamsters

Milk - Girl. Winterwhite Pudding.
Born around Feb 2oo5.

Milk is offically my first ww. I bought her and Kopi (see below) at Bishan. She was fierce and nipped alot, but slowly begun to trust me. She is very active and enjoyed running on her wheel or in the ball. Even though she had fur loss and lumps as she aged, she was still hardy and ate alot. She passed away peacefully on 17 Apr 07 of old age. RIP Milk. <3

Kopi - Boy. Normal Winterwhite.
Born around March 2oo5.

Kopi is bought together with Milk, but was later separated due to fights. He is a very tame boy and has a calm nature. He never nipped and is always ready to play in my hands. He loves exploring my computer desk and testing out papers by chewing them. Kopi passed away peacefully of old age on 29 August 2oo7. I miss him. <3

Tomi - Boy. Long Haired Cinammon Banded syrian.
Born around Jan 2oo7.

Tomi is a rescued hamster. A girl posted a "buy cage get syrian free" in the forums and I knew I just had to save him. He is a heart-melter and everyone fell in love with him in first sight. A very sweet and cute boy, his ruby eyes (thus the name "Tomi" which means red) are mesmerizing. he loves egg yolks and corns. He is later adopted by Snowboy, who kept his name. Everyone misses him. Tomi passed away on 16 June 07 due to bad diarrhoea. RIP Tomi. <3
